As you know, The Last of Us is getting its own HBO series, and it will be helmed by Chernobyl’s Craig Mazin and executive produced and written by Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann. Today, Mazin touched upon how any changes made to it will expand and “fill things out” and not undo anything. “I think fans of something worry that, when the property gets licensed to someone else, those people don’t really understand it, or are going to change it," said Mazin in a BBC podcast....

Discovered by reddit user teristam, there is a wall over in Volcano Manor that will only come down if hit 50 times. See for yourself here. Once the wall disappears, you will find Rya and Knight Bernhal’s room, which is a bit odd considering you can find it easily enough and walk into it the normal way. Why breaking down a wall to get into the room is an option is not known, as there really is no point to it, unless you really want to smack something 50 times instead of going about it in the normal manner....

Embracer Group, the parent company of THQ Nordic and several other European game development studios and publishers, has announced a host of new acquisitions this morning. The company has acquired seven previously independent studios, who will now operate under its various subsidiaries. The Saber Interactive branch, which itself was acquired earlier this year, now wholly owns Insurgency developer New World Interactive, as well as Metro series developer 4A Games. For New World Interactive, the deal gives Embracer 100% of the studio’s shares, including both of its development houses in Denver, Colorado and Calgary, Alberta and their respective teams....

A release date for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 on Switch has been set for June 25. News of the date was broke by Nintendo on Twitter. In the game, you will skate as Tony Hawk along with the original pro roster and new pros. You will also skate along to tunes from the original games plus new additions to the soundtrack. You will also pull off trick combos, play all of the original game modes, and go head-to-head with local two-Player modes....

A music streamer on Twitch who goes by the name of Starling openly tagged Shear in a tweet, suggesting the CEO had no intention of looking into abuse allegations. “[Shear was] asked in an All Hands meeting about partners using their platforms to abuse women - specifically using my case as an example,” wrote Starling. “He chuckled, said ‘wow, the things that go on on our platform, can’t really comment,’ & moved on....

The Epic Games Store now requires two-factor authentication in order to claim free games from the store. From now until May 21, Epic said it will periodically require two-factor authentication prior to claiming the freebies. The change is being made to encourage users “to take steps to strengthen their Epic account security.” If you do not have two-factor enabled, to set it up, head to your Epic Games Account settings....

While this may seem like a lot of pressure – keeping everyone happy and students’ grades high – Two Point Campus strikes a perfect balance; it’s easy to pick up and play, while incredibly difficult to master. Anyone familiar with the predecessor, Two Point Hospital, will know that the lucrative three-star rating is hard to come by, but it’s so rewarding when you do finally reach that milestone. Immortals: Fenyx Rising is a new Ubisoft game that just got rated by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee. As spotted by Gematsu, the unannounced game has been given an age-12 rating on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch. Though this could be an entirely new game, this is more than likely the new name for Gods and Monsters, the Breath of the Wild-style action game unveiled in a brief trailer back at E3 2019....
