The Pokemon Company has always been more about expanded full game re-releases than downloadable extras, but for the first time with Pokemon Sword & Shield a main pokemon series title is getting significant downloadable content in the form of a full expansion pass that players can now buy. The DLC will release in two parts - first The Isle of Armor in June, then later on in the year The Crown Tundra....

Earlier today, a listing for a PlayStation VR version of Prey VR popped up on UK retailer Shopto’s website. It has since been removed, but not before everyone saw it. When it was available, the listing didn’t have any information, or even a cover a art; just a blank page with the Prey VR name on it. Prey VR is, of course, not a game that’s been officially announced, but it seems very plausible....

Today, Halo 3 joins the Master Chief Collection on PC. Equally as important as this release is the patch that went live earlier today alongside it. Rolling out patches for MCC with game launches is standard, but there’s one particular change that’s worth celebrating. The July 14 patch updates the audio for Halo: Reach. As you may recall, Reach was the first MCC game to launch on PC. It took 343 Industries and co-developers Splash Damage/Ruffian months of internal tests to translate its archaic code and design standards into something today’s PC players would find acceptable....

Speaking with Famitsu, Insomniac Games said it would offer both options to players of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. The game run at 30fps with a 4K resolution, however, there is the option to play it at a lower resolution at 60fps. Insomniac didn’t specify what the “lower” resolution would be (thanks, Siliconera). Thanks to a tweet from @DreamcastGuy on Twitter, it’s been revealed that the light bar on the DualSense pad will act as a sort-of health gauge Jill Valentine. The pad will communicate Jill’s health as green for good, yellow for hurt, or red for critical – and you can see it all via a quick glimpse down at the DualSense in your hands. Players that picked up the game on PS4 may remember that the DualShock 4 pad had a similar function, but because of the more obscured lights on most PS4 pads, you couldn’t really see it as clearly....

This particular trial will be available to the public during Tokyo Game Show, and according to Capcom’s website, only a limited number of attendees will be able to spend time with Lady Dimitrescu in PSVR 2, as you might’ve expected. That is if Lady D herself even appears in the particular trial, which is set to feature a part of the Dimitrescu Castle. Ring Fit Adventure has proven to be an enduring hit for Nintendo. When it launched a year ago, the game was constantly out of stock, to the point that many outlets, including ourselves, posted updates whenever it came back in stock. A year later, the exercise game continues to hold strong. Japanese magazine Famitsu recently revealed the retail sales in the country for the previous week, covering October 5-11. During that period, Ring Fit Adventure managed to sell 33,502 units, enough for it to land the number three spot, overtaken by Animal Crossing: New Horizons and FIFA 21....

The new Rocket Pass for Rocket League will include 70+ Tiers of new items, some of which are shown off in the latest trailer. Season 3’s Rocket Pass includes a new vehicle called the Tyranno which is super fast and features the Dominus hitbox. The development team will no longer make new downloadable content for its guitar-centric teaching tool-meets-game following this week’s release of a collection of songs from Swedish prog-metal band Opeth. Instead, Ubi will be moving on to a new project. “The Rocksmith Dev Stream will continue (in a new format), along with some more surprises,” reads a statement from the developer. No news on what that might look like just yet, however....

This is according to Rust developer Facepunch Studios which shared the news on Twitter, stating that data will be unable to be restored (thanks, MassivelyOP). “25 of our EU servers remain offline due to a fire at OVH Datacenter in the early hours of this morning,” reads the announcement. “Unfortunately, the fire destroyed SBG-2 building. We’re expecting a large amount of data loss across the affected servers. “We’ve confirmed a total loss of the affected EU servers during the OVH data centre fire....

Yoshida made the announcement on his personal Twitter page, where he shared details about his future plans. Check out the tweet below. “On a personal note,I quit Capcom on July 4,” Yoshida wrote. “I was very happy to be able to develop for 12 years at Capcom. From now on, I will leave Japan and go overseas to develop games for next-gen.” Yoshida also confirmed that he will work remotely from Japan until the coronavirus is more firmly under control, before noting that he will continue “doing [his] best” in future endeavours....
