Back in March, Epic Games outlined that Brazilian footballer and Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr. would be arriving in-game as part of the battle royale’s Chapter 2, Season 6, but didn’t give us much more information than that. Now, the developer has revealed that Neymar Jr is arriving in the multiplayer game on April 27, and he’ll arrive in-game with four different skins: two based on football jerseys, and two that look like they belong in a Power Rangers spin-off....

Vlambeer, the two-person development team behind many indie hits on PC and mobile, is closing shop. The developer announced the news this week on Twitter, on the studio’s tenth anniversary no less. “We had a beautiful run, made incredible games, and worked with amazing people, but it is time for new things,” the developer said. “It’s not a sad day for us, but the happy conclusion to a whirlwind decade filled with screenshake....

Nintendo has announced that later today it will release a demo for Pikmin 3 Deluxe for Switch owners. The demo version features save-data transfer with the full game, and completing it also gives immediate access to the Ultra-Spicy difficulty mode in the full game, and other perks. Along with news of the demo, during today’s Nintendo Treehouse presentation, some of the new features coming with the Deluxe edition were highlighted....

Pistol Whip, a popular game in the VR community, feels like the rollercoaster ride version of Superhot and Beat Saber combined. You get the same sense of being in a movie (although there’s more colour and variety in Pistol Whip), but you are constantly on the move, unable to slow down time as you’re instead blasting away foes in time with the game’s thumping music. The 2089 update adds a story-driven campaign - a first for the game - which essentially means you get a small cinematic of sorts between each chapter....

According to publisher Thunderful and independent studio Wishfully, the delay will provide the development team with extra time to ensure the game meets its full potential. “We’re sorry that completing development on Planet of Lana will take longer than initially expected, but we promise it will be worth the wait,” said Wishfully director Adam Stjarnljus. “Planet of Lana has been a passion project for us for a long time, so we want to ensure that when it’s finally available, people are getting it in pristine condition....
