Bleeding Edge is Ninja Theory’s next game. Due out at the end of March, the multiplayer, class-based brawler will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one, like Gears 5 before it. The third Marvel’s Avengers War Table was held today, during which Kate Bishop was announced as post-launch DLC. Alongside the character, four new high-level mission types were shown, which you will progress through via the Avengers Initiative: Villain Sectors, SHIELD Vaults, AIM’s Secret Lab, and Mega Hives. Villain Sectors are special missions that provide showdowns with powerful bosses that you will want to return to as your heroes get closer to the game’s level cap of 150, while SHIELD Vaults are full of resources, gear, and secrets that must be discovered and unlocked....
At the risk of sounding like an old-school Bond villain, I’ve long had an interest in flooding Grand Theft Auto 5’s world. Back when the PlayStation 3 was jailbroken, a good 10 years or so ago, modders discovered they could meddle with its workings. I watched a YouTube video of just such a mod in action, with the sea level raised so high that only the tops of buildings were visible....
As per a new statement on 4A Games’ website, the next-gen version of the game will have full ray-tracing support for practically every light source in the game, which should help immerse you more than ever in its ruined post-apocalyptic world. As was hinted at last year, the next-gen version of the game will also feature optimised shaders, 4K textures, and a FOV slider for those of you that want more control over the bits of the game you can see (especially in those spider-infested tunnels…) It seems that transparent surfaces and ‘atmosphere’ (think fog and so on) will also react well to these new lighting improvements, and the game will also support GPU fp16 and DX12 whilst running with better loading times and featuring a suite of bug fixes too....

As leaked earlier in the day, Platinum Games did in fact launch a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for The Wonderful 101. With a meagre $50,000 goal, Platinum wanted to remaster the game for Nintendo Switch, but also had higher stretch goals for PC at $250,000 and PS4 at $500,000. Both of these were achieved in hours, and the campaign has just broken past the $1 million goal, which adds a time attack mode....
