Space Punks is the new game from Shadow Warrior dev Flying Wild Hog. A bit of an unusual reveal from the studio, the game brings together elements from Borderlands, Diablo, and Helldivers. Space Punks is a four-player co-op, top-down loot shooter where you’ll be sent to different planets to perform some objectives and do a lot of killing. When you’re done, you’ll return to a hub area to customise your character, craft weapons, and equip more powerful gear....

First, a bit of background. Call of Duty: Zombies, while initially a wave-based survival game mode attached to World at War back in 2008, has evolved rapidly over the past decade-plus. The mode now has a reputation for its high-complexity map layouts and intricately hidden secrets the community hunts for ravenously. The problem at the moment is that as it stands right now, Der Anfang seems to be lacking in several key areas....

Annouced during EA Play Live back in July, the racer promises a large variety of game modes, including a deeper Career with over 250 events, a story mode entitled Driven to Glory, the return of Drift and Elimination, and the introduction of Electric Boost racing. Drivers of all levels will be able to drive over 100 vehicles upon release, race on classic tracks and in cities, and connect with others via cross-platform multiplayer....

Command & Conquer Remastered reviews are live alongside the game’s release on PC through Origin and Steam. Announced in 2018, the collection features Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert along with all three expansion packs. In the game, you can expect improvements such as upscaled live-action cutscenes, an overhauled UI, controls, and 4K resolution. Frank Klepacki, the original composer, remastered the audio, and the game includes seven hours of tracks including those hidden and unreleased from the original games....

It’s no secret at this point that Apex Legends developer Respawn has been re-purposing plenty of weapons, first originated in Titanfall, into the battle royale shooter. Both take place in the same universe, after all. And, according to the in-game files, more is one the way. In particular, the often controversial Smart Pistol may be making a return. Modder @That1MiningGuy, known for exposing many Apex Legends secrets and upcoming reveals through game code, has stumbled upon strong refrences to the Smart Pistol....

CD Projekt has revealed that it has been informed that the court has consolidated the four class action lawsuits filed against it in December and January over allegedly misleading investors about the state of Cyberpunk 2077 on last-gen consoles. The suits, which CD Projekt promised earlier this year to “vigorously” defend itself against, were filed on behalf of groups of investors who said the game’s reception, and subsequent drop in CDP stock price, caused them to lose money....

The rating has since been removed from the website but a screenshot posted online by Reddit user JordhanMK spells out all the objectionable content. As reported by PCGamesN, Cyberpunk 2077 will allegedly feature “intense sexual relation”, “nudity”, “prostitution”, “sexualization”, “sexual language”. “Sexual pleasurement”, and an “intense sexual relationship” whose severity “was aggravated by scene composition”. Also featured in some way are scenes including “suicide”, “cruelty”, “intentional death”, and “exposure to death corpse”....

Though Bungie kept it on for a bit, the feature ultimately went away because it was not ready for launch. Blizzard are very good at keeping fans waiting, and Diablo 4 was certainly no exception. After a long period of rumours Diablo 4 was finally revealed at BlizzCon 2019, but we were once again left in the dark after that until 2021 when we were given more Diablo 4 information. It felt like the lead up to a 2022 release date, but once again we were made to wait another year....

As first reported by Kotaku, Diablo 4 game director and one of its most public faces, Luis Barriga, has been let go from Blizzard. Diablo 4 lead designer, Jesse McCree, has also been let go, alongside World of Warcraft designer Jonathan LeCraft. The three departures were announced internally, reportedly without the company offering a reason. Activision Blizzard later confirmed them to Kotaku. “We have a deep, talented roster of developers already in place and new leaders have been assigned where appropriate,” the statement reads....

The sources, speaking with VentureBeat, state thet DICE will instead continue to focus on Battlefield 2042 instead of developing Star Wars: Battlefront 3. This news seems to confirm a November tweet from journalist Tom Henderson, which stated that Battlefront 3 wasn’t part of EA’s future plans. According to what Henderson heard, a third entry in the DICE shooter series was pitched, but EA ditched the idea due to licensing costs....

This weekend saw Bandai Namco host the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour 2020 Finals, the culimnation of the past year of tournament battles in the fast-paced versus fighter. At the event, FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki announced some exciting new additions for the game for this year - additions that will be relevant to casual fans but that will also massively shake up how the game is played at a high level on the esports scene....

Early Access users will be able to play the launch version of Dreams on February 11. The game releases to the rest of the world on February 14. Alongside, Sony and Media Molecule will be releasing a Creator Patch which provides access to all the new content which includes some major changes. This includes new creator kits such as Art’s Dream which features noir, sci-fi and fantasy creations. There are also two new kits to use in DreamShaping and your Homespaces: Welcome Home and Ancient Temple....
