Remedy has announced the release date for Control’s The Foundation expansion. The add-on is out March 26 on PC and PS4, with Xbox One to follow on June 25. To go with the news, Remedy released a brief new trailer . The Foundation’s story sees the Astral Plane on a collision course with the Oldest House, and Jesse will “travel through the caverns of the Foundation” to prevent that from happening....
Crash Bandicoot 4 will not feature microtransactions, according to developer Toys for Boy. Over the weekend, a Microsoft Store listing for the game featured an addendum at the bottom noting it would feature in-game purchases. Crysis Remastered has the ultimate graphics preset. Named after the ‘Can it Run Crysis?’ meme, the new preset cranks up all of the game’s individual visual settings to their highest possible degree. That’s going off a datamine on the recently-released patch for Crystal Dynamics’ title, as shared by Twitter user Miller – and spotted by Multiplayer First – which points to characters such as Black Panther and War Machine coming to Marvel’s Avengers. The former was teased by the studio in September, but was delayed following the death of actor Chadwick Boseman, who died that same month. As well as new characters, it also seems that there are a number of new levels coming to the game....

Devil’s Hunt, released last September on PC, was the debut game from Polish studio Layopi Games. The Warsaw-based team had been working on console ports since then, but it appears those won’t be released. A new report from PPE [Polish] cities multiple anonymous tips from a number of developers at Layopi, who all say they have not been paid in months. According to PPE, the November salary was paid in three instalments over December, January and February....
According to AppMagic data obtained by Pocket Gamer (thanks, GI.biz), since its June 2 release on mobile, the game has been downloaded almost 8.5 million times and players have spent $24 million on in-game transactions. The revenue is split almost equally between Apple’s App Store and Android, with $13 million and $11.3 million earned through the respective stores. Broken down by region, Japan accounted for 8% of total spending, Germany 6%, and Canada 3%, with the US (43%) and Korea (23%) making up the majority of money spent....

In particular, he revealed some interesting new information about the DualSense controller. According to Springate, Dirt 5 is poised to take full advantage of the console’s new DualSense controller, fully embracing the pad’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback to make the racing experience more tactile and immersive....
When Square Enix re-announced Babylon’s Fall last December, the publisher dropped a brief trailer, promising a bigger reveal in the summer. It now looks like whatever Square and developer Platinum Games had planned won’t actually come to pass - at least at the previously suggested window. The official Babylon’s Fall Twitter account posted a brief message to say that while development “is continuing to progress well,” the team won’t be sharing any news this summer....

Epic Games boss Tim Sweeney has revealed that the Epic Games Store is coming to Android, and that he hopes to also bring it to iOS. The CEO told Gamespot that it wants to bring the same philosophy of developer freedom to mobile. “We’d like to bring the [Epic Games] Store to iOS in the future, and we will bring it to Android,” said Sweeney. “We think it’s a good way to help the industry [move] forward and it’s another way where Epic as a game developer had built up this audience around Fortnite and learned how to operate a distribution platform on PC and Android....
