Today’s new content for the first-person cyberpunk parkour action Ghostrunner includes the free update Kill Run Mode. In Kill Run Mode, players slay enemies to add seconds to the timer, dash through sections in Dharma Tower as quickly as possible, and hit new heights on the leaderboards. Players can also capture photos with Photo Mode. Paid content consists of the Metal Ox Pack, which celebrates the Year of the Ox with four new swords and gloves modeled after the Confucian principles and virtues of benevolence, justice, rite, and integrity....

Gran Turismo 7 has, quite unsurprisingly, been pushed back to 2022. The delay was revealed in a GQ interview with PlayStation head Jim Ryan. According to Sony, it has to do with production challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic. “GT7 has been impacted by Covid-related production challenges and therefore will shift from 2021 to 2022,” a Sony representative said. “With the ongoing pandemic, it’s a dynamic and changing situation and some critical aspects of game production have been slowed over the past several months....

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is coming soon, but if you are a subscriber to one of the aforementioned services, you will be able to play one of the included games as part of your subscription. Xbox Game Pass members will be able to play the definitive version of GTA: San Andreas on November 11, which is the same day the trilogy releases digitally. PlayStation Now users will be able to download the definitive version of GTA: 3 on December 7, a day after the trilogy releases in stores....

Rockstar has seemingly never found a permanent solution to cheating and hacking in GTA Online, and making GTA 5 completely free on the Epic Store reminded everyone of that. Hackers and modders have access to a set of powers that go beyond the aimbotting and wallhacking you might be used to in other games. In GTA Online, cheaters can essentially ruin the day of everyone in the server. They have the power to spawn vehicles out of nowhere to disrupt ongoing missions, trap players in cages at random, rain fire upon everyone with modded jets, and even force servers to crash by overloading them with junk....

Microsoft announced today it has added Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary to Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Xbox Game Pass for PC, Windows 10, and Steam. Yesterday it was reported to be coming soon, but this was a bit quicker than expected. You will be able to switch between the classic game graphics and the enhanced version depending on which you prefer. You will also notice improvements to Spartan customization....

Both Xbox and PC players seem to be affected, it seems that there is a log-in related issue that erases your save file entirely. According to Resetera user 99humanity, after respawning in the third person mode and either clipping through the floor or floating around like the ghost of Christmas past, an Xbox sign-in prompt will appear. It will then prompt players to click “Let’s go” in order to log in....

We now know a little bit more about what to expect from Halo Infinite. Developer 343 Industries held a live-stream event yesterday to give us a bit more information about the next entry in the Halo franchise. Among other things, the studio revealed that Infinite has a dynamic weather system, which will feature wind and fog systems when the game is launched. Storms and snowstorms might be added after release....

Naughty Dog’s big surprise wasn’t the rumoured multiplayer off-shoot, or any of the other game-related announcements. What we did get was the first official shot from The Last of Us HBO series. The studio released the photo on social media, showing Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie) from the back, as the two survey a plane crash site in a farm somewhere. There isn’t much to go on here, but seeing as the show will mainly cover the events of the first game, the way the two look, particularly their costumes, is very authentic to the aesthetics of the first game....

Norman need not worry, though, as Hideo Kojima has publicly responded to the rumours with a simple tweet. The tweet consists of a handful of photographs of the pair appearing to celebrate Reedus’ work on series, The Walking Dead, accompanied by the caption “Go to your private room, my friend.” Paired with a cute thumbs up and a heart eyes emoji to boot, there’s no mistaking that the pair clearly have a friendship like no other....

The Klomberries are a bit more difficult to find, and actually feeding them to the creature is a bit of a process in itself. Where is the Klombo location in Fortnite? Some of these are web-based, such as searching on Bing, taking part in polls, or completing short quizzes. There’s also an Xbox side to it, with points being given for completing challenges in set Game Pass titles, earning achievements in certain games, and more....

Let’s start with the good news: Dragon Ball Fighterz is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X, at some point anyway, and with that will come the fabled rollback netcode (which will also come to the PC version of the game). What’s the bad news, you ask? The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game won’t be getting rollback netcode, it looks like. The news was announced at Evo, and the official Bandai Namco Esports account put out a statement going into a bit more detail....

We can however look at previous crossovers to get an idea of what may be coming. Recently, Riot Games and Epic teamed up around the release of Arcane and brought Jinx into Fortnite as a guest character. With this crossover, we saw a new character skin, backpack bling, pickaxe, and other in-game cosmetics. As such, we can safely presume the Naruto crossover will follow suit as prior events of a similar nature....

Yesterday during its Anniversary stream, THQ Nordic announced Jagged Alliance 3 is in development for PC. In the works at Haemimont Games, known for its work on the Tropico-Series, Surviving Mars, and Victor Vran, the successor to the beloved series will be released “soon.” This time out, you will be taking command of a mercenary force in the fictional country of Grand Chien. The land has been “thrown into chaos” due to a paramilitary force known as “the Legion” having taken over and kidnapped the president....

Capcom announced Jill will be added as a playable Survivor in Resident Evil Resistance in a future update. The addition of the character was announced alongside a new trailer for Resident Evil 3, which focuses mainly on Jill. We got our first look at the multiplayer mode back in September when it was known as Project Resistance. In the mode, four survivors work together while one villainous Mastermind spawns enemies....
