These Eldritch Statues have both bark and bite - you’ll need to keep your wits about you to take them down. Their beam attacks are very powerful, so try hiding around a corner and throwing grenades or using a weapon that fires projectiles so you can pop out and get damage in quickly. You’ll find these terrible creations all throughout your journey - up until the last area of the whole DLC....
Borderlands 3’s release on PC being locked to the Epic Games Store for six months was one of the early example demonstrating just how serious Epic is about building its PC platform. Naturally, the terms of this agreement were not shared publicly, but thanks to the currently ongoing Epic Games vs. Apple trial, we have a better idea of how much money the deal cost Epic, and how well the game performed on the platform....
As promised back in March, Mayhem Mode 2.0 is coming to Borderlands 3 and it launches this week. Starting April 23, you will be able to participate in ten “increasingly challenging” Mayhem levels in order to acquire some of the most “powerful Legendary loot” in the game. Mayhem Mode will unlock when you finish the main campaign, and with Mayhem 2.0, you can expect a number of improvements over the current mode....
Borderlands 3’s event will be scaled down to make it slightly easier. If it was previously a bit tough for you, it will now be easier to make progress and hopefully find a party. Expect the scaled version to go live on January 16 and end on January 30. After that date, Gearbox Software will bring the event back up to its intended difficulty level. The scaled Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite event was supposed to kick off earlier this month, but there was apparently an issue with the event preventing it from going live....
I’m a little torn on Bravely Default 2. On one hand, it’s a Japanese role playing game for true aficionados of the genre. Its combat is texturally rich, full of depth and wide-ranging battle options. It’s challenging - sometimes a little too much for its own good, in fact - but ultimately rewarding. In terms of how it plays, I generally rather love it. The presentation, however, is where I get stuck....
In a video update, The Legend of Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma, shared an update regarding the launch timing of the sequel, stating the team decided to extend the development time. Originally slated for release this year, Aonuma said in order to make the experience “something special,” the team is continuing to work diligently on the game. While we don’t know too much about Breath of the Wild 2 at present, it seems to build off the mechanics of the first game, and takes place not only on the ground but in the skies above too....

Breath of the Wild is one of the greatest games ever made, and Zelda is one of the few series’ to ever accomplish releasing industry-shaking titles repeatedly, across multiple generations....

As well as raising your affinity with each of the boys through the main BTS and Another Story chapters, you can collect and craft cards featuring the entire band, while also building up their stats with Agency quests....
The trailer delivers, offering a look at the full, modern version of the classic Task Force 141 fans of the original Modern Warfare series should be familiar with. The setting, however, may come as a surprise, if you expected it to follow on directly from the first game. The trailer doesn’t provide any informaton on the campaign missions, but we do know the sequel follows Task Force 141 and new characters after the events of Modern Warfare....
As of the beginning of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season One, Activision’s major battle royale title – Warzone – was integrated with this year’s annual release. This means Double XP and Double Weapon XP tokens from Modern Warfare, the game Warzone used to be paired with, no longer work in the battle royale. If you’ve been playing either Warzone or the multiplayer offerings from the last few Call of Duty games, you’ll know that the tokens (which speed up the grindy process of levelling up weapons and unlocking attachments) are often provided as challenge rewards, and in the titles’ premium Battle Passes....
The creator of an unofficial Call of Duty: Warzone app that gives users detailed info about the people they’re playing against has made some tweaks after it emerged that folks were using it in unintended ways. Speaking to Eurogamer, the owner of Warzone Companion developer COD Stats, Dmitry Shymko, said that a patch had been rolled out to the application that limits some of the information it displays. The software shows stats including kill/death ratio as well as whether someone might be a cheater....
If you’re unfamiliar with Stopping Power, the upgrade allows you to reload your current weapon with more powerful rounds that dish out extra damage to anyone unfortunate enough to be in your sights. Players have been calling for Raven to modify and balance the upgrade for a while, complaining it reduced the already controversial TTK in the game to a frankly trivial level. [] “Given Stopping Power’s efficacy and lack of counter play options, we felt its power level was at odds with its availability,” Raven said in the patch notes....
Reddit user Schmayward was playing Call of Duty: Warzone when he ended up in the final circle. Unfortunately, his teammate died, leaving him on his own to fight off a squad of enemies. His misfortunes continued, however, as it turned out the enemy squad was rocking RPGs, so instead of losing the match to RPG spam, Schmayward decided to play the long game. He quickly realised that he’s close to a Buy Station, which he promptly used to buy one gas mask after another in order to survive staying in the gas....
This weekend, Activision is making five Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer maps free to play in Warzone until April 27. Starting tomorrow, April 24, you can play across five multiplayer maps from the game. You will need to download the free-to-play Warzone in order to play the Modern Warfare maps if you don’t have access to the base game already. You will be able to experience 6v6, and 10v10 with players of both games through PC, PS4, and Xbox One....
The two parties, which entered into negotiations in late 2021, came to an agreement this week with CD Projekt agreeing to pay investors $1.85 million (thanks, Law 360 via PCgamesN). Investors filed a lawsuit against the company two years ago alleging it misrepresented the practically broken state of Cyberpunk 2077 on consoles to receive financial benefits. The first class-action suit against CD Projekt came about in January 2021, with three more filed against the company leading all to be consolidated by the court....

Announced last June and released last month, Crisis Core has received a pretty extensive remaster that has overhauled a lot of what was present in the original PSP game. For one, the visuals are completely new, with modern models, new textures, and fancy lighting, all to bring it closer to Final Fantasy 7 Remake’s visual style. But it’s not just the visuals that have been matched, as the voice acting has all been redone, all to match the actors cast in 7 Remake....
Update: In response to the issue of seizure-inducing images in Cyberpunk 2077, Microsoft has issued a statement recommitting to accessibility options and guidelines for games on Xbox. As reported in Gamesradar, a Microsoft spokesperson said, “Creating a place that is safe and inclusive is a priority for us. “That’s why we publish and share our accessibility guidelines with all of our gaming partners.” “We continue to work on partnership with other publishers, industry experts, and members of the gaming and disability community to evolve and improve our certification process and we encourage all players to review warnings on all games”....
