The suit for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was shown off in a new video today which also features some gameplay. Those who pre-order the game will get early access to the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse suit. It features the Vibe the Verse suit mod to mimic the aesthetic of a different Earth from the Sony Pictures Animation film. Like the original game, certain mods will be part of certain suits....

In a post over on the official EA site, the developer outlined a series of known problems with the beta, and what the studio is doing to correct the issues before launch. Perhaps the most pressing are the various graphical, visual and performance issues that are obvious in-game. “Our open beta is representative of progress made earlier in our development cycle,” the statement reads. “Many of the issues you encounter throughout the beta have already received a great deal of new attention, and will continue to do so as we complete the final work on 2042....

The report states the device will allow users to not only stream games available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, but movies and television shows too. But it’s not just a physical stick or puck. Samsung smart TVs are said to be getting an Xbox streaming app for the sets. Like the streaming sticks, it will also roll out sometime within the next 12 months. Capcom announced Monster Hunter Rise today during the Nintendo Direct Mini. The world seems rather open and will also be able to ride a dog. Monsters revealed include Aknosom, Great Izuchi, Tetranadon, and a new monster called Magnamalo. The game puts you into the world of Kamura Village, a new mountain locale where you will experience unique culture and innovative hunting technologies. Using a special insect called a Wirebug, hunters will be able to grapple in any direction, making it possible to scale cliffs and structures....

The next PlayStation 5 Showcase will take place on Wednesday, September 16, Sony has announced. It will last around 40 minutes, and feature updates on the latest titles from Worldwide Studios and Sony development partners. The showcase will present games coming to PS5 at launch “and beyond.” You can tune in via Sony’s Twitch or YouTube channels at 1pm PDT, 4pm EDT, 9pm BST, 10pm CEST. Sony’s first showcase was held back in June and presented a look at GTA 5 for PlayStation 5, Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and Square Enix’s Project Athia....

Ni no Kuni, the film, first opened in Japan last summer, telling the story of three friends who can travel back and forth between reality and another world known as Ni no Kuni. “When the life of the Kotona in both worlds is simultaneously put in danger, the three friends must make the ultimate choice,” reads its synopsis. The film will stream on both US and UK iterations of Netflix this month....

The Steam version of Nier: Automata is set to receive an upgrade patch on Steam, according to a tweet from the franchise’s official Twitter account. It’s honestly about time really, as the game has been in a bit of a sorry state since it was released on the service back in 2017. Since release, it has not received a patch to address bug fixes or performance issues.
