In a lengthy interview with IGN, Xbox boss Phil Spencer discussed a wide range of topics, including how the gaming side is handling the coronavirus pandemic across its departments. When many thought Anthem had been all but abandoned by EA and BioWare, the developer officially announced earlier this year that the game would be substantially reinvented. Call of Duty: Warzone developer Raven has disabled the recently reactivated Armored Royale mode as a result of a widespread invisibility glitch. The glitch, which currently involves truck-mounted turrets, is not actually new, but it seemingly wasn’t completely fixed when it was previously discovered. Even though the original glitch involved the helicopter miniguns, players found that they could replicate it in Armored Royale to become invisible. Revealed in September last year (after a series of leaks), Assassin’s Creed Mirage was a welcome announcement among fans of the series. The last few iterations like Valhalla and Odyssey moved the games more towards the RPG genre rather than the stealth-focused gameplay the first game brought to the table. But Mirage is going to the series roots, and according to a recent interview from GamesRadar with Ubisoft creative director Stéphane Boudon, part of the reasoning behind scaling down is thanks to the fans....

I’ve finished Rift Apart three times and also watched my son finish it. It’s fair to say that I enjoyed it a lot. A lot of this is no doubt down to the fact that Insomniac’s game was one of the first proper PS5 games. It wasn’t also built for PS4. It was a PS5 game. And it shows. There have been plenty of great looking games released in 2021, but I don’t think any of them can match Ratchet’s PS5 debut in terms of delivering that coveted animated movie-like experience....
