This follows news of a new movie synopsis for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 that seemed to suggest the film will be following the events of the Sonic 3 game, with Robotnik and Knuckles taking a central role. Those rumors and that leaked synopsis, it seems, had some credibility: as you can see from the tweet below, Elba appears to be teasing his presence in the film, giving us our first look at what Knuckles will look like in live action....

The Ricochet anti-cheat is a kernel-level bit of software added to Warzone late last year around the release of the new Caldera map. Mandatory for all players, it was able to stamp out many of the cheats players were using and resulted in waves of bans. However, the sweet catharsis we all felt appears to have been short lived. Peaking at the official Warzone reddit there are reports of cheaters returning to ruin the fun....
A Japanese man has been arrested and charged for making and selling hacks for Pokemon Sword and Shield. As reported by local media outlet Asahi – and spotted by ResetEra – the 23-year-old man reportedly found a way to modify and illegally rewrite save data in order to get shiny Pokemon. They sold a Sobble to a 36-year-old Kyoto man after modifying save data on a PC. As of November 2020, he had apparently made ¥1....
Square Enix has announced Just Cause: Mobile, a free to play action-shooter set in the Just Cause universe and designed exclusively for mobile platforms. Expanding the series’ universe, the game features both single-player and multiplayer experiences, with plenty of grappling, gliding, and shooting in top-down gameplay. Spotted by Lost Ark forum user Canary, a symbol for the Lost Ark battle pass - named the Ark Pass - can be seen right above the Welcome Challenge icon near the mini-map in the top right corner of the screen. The video also shows off several different players with class icons displayed in a PvP menu too, including some classes that aren’t in the western version of the game yet including the Reaper and Glavier....
Like FIFA 21 before it, the next-gen upgrade for Madden NFL 21 has gone live a day early. There is a caveat with the PS5 version though, as the game is not yet connected to the servers. The developers are doing some final testing on a problem and will provide updates this evening; however, the game can be played offline. Madden NFL 21 can be downloaded on next-gen consoles for players who have purchased the game on Xbox One and/or PS4....

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will continue the journey of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in this single-player adventure which is coming exclusively to PlayStation 5 in 2023. The game will feature all-new stories for Peter and Miles in this sequel, which Insomniac says will be “full of heart and humor,” which dives deep into the people behind the mask. The footage shown in the trailer is “just a glimpse” and what is in store in terms of new abilities the heroes will acquire and the suits they will wear....
A rating for the unannounced Mass Effect Trilogy remaster has popped up on the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea. Listed as Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the rumored remasters of the trilogy seems more and more likely thanks to the rating (thanks, Gematsu). Rumors of the remastered trilogy have been around since May, and it’s suggested we will be able to pick it up sometime in early 2021. When EA published the full-year financials for its FY2020, it confirmed some of its games coming into March 2021....
