Turrican is coming back in time for its 30th anniversary, and we were given a look at what to expect today during gamescom Opening Night Live. This is not the remake some were hoping for, more of a remaster and a collection of the classic games. Factor 5 is making two Turrican Anthology collections, with five games each. They’re both coming to PS4 and Switch, priced €35 each. Volume 1 includes Turrican (Amiga), Turrican 2 (Amiga), Super Turrican (SNES), Super Turrican Director’s Cut (SNES), and Mega Turrican Score Attack (Mega Drive/Genesis)....

To that end, the publisher shared more details on its mysterious Infinty project. Back in Summer 2021, Ubisoft officially confirmed Assassin’s Creed Infinity to be in development at its Montreal, and Quebec studios. Since we learned about the project, we’ve heard precious little about it – until today. During the showcase, staff from Ubisoft noted that Project Infinity “is not a game” per se; instead, it’s a single entry point for fans, that will act as something as a springboard into the future....

Valheim players recently devised a particularly brutal, way-too-efficient machination to farm Greydwarves, one of the game’s enemies. The idea is to build fiery pits that trap Greydwarves as they spawn, infinitely farming them for their parts. It didn’t take long for players to figure out that it’s cheaper, and more efficient, to build and maintain these fires than going out and hunting the damn things normally. Valheim developer Iron Gate seemingly wasn’t too keen on this industrialisation of Greydwarf farming, because the game’s latest makes them practically useless....

Instead, Valve simply wanted an easier way for reminding anyone who publishes on Steam not to promote games’ availability on other platforms, or post links to content that violates Steam’s general policies. Taipei Game Show 2020 is running from February 6 to 9 in Taiwan’s bustling capital, and boasts a public attendance of over 100,000 video game fans, as well as a busy business to business offering. Hosted months before the action and announcements kick off in LA for E3 2020, the Taipei Game Show will feature playable demos, industry panels, and interviews with some of the biggest publishers, including Sony, Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, and Sega....

Darkborn was initially announced as Project Wight back in 2016 and was being published under Take-Two’s Private Division label. The game will also come to Xbox’s PC Game Pass catalog, alongside a launch on the Microsoft Store this fall. The news was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase Extended showcase. Both the upcoming Microsoft Store and Xbox console releases will have full crossplay support at release, allowing you to play with friends on Steam, the Microsoft Store, or on Xbox. Developers Piktiv and Fishlabs will lead the development of the Microsoft Store release and upcoming 2023 Xbox which will allow Iron Gate to continue the development of the core Valheim experience and its upcoming content....

From 10AM PDT - which is 1PM Eastern, 6PM in the UK, and 7PM in Central Europe - Pokemon Go Fest 2020 tickets will be available from the in-app shop. They will cost $14.99, or your regional equivalent, and you can’t pay with Pokecoins. Niantic has said that there is unlimited capacity for this global event. In previous years, Pokemon Go Fest has been an in-person event held in host cities ranging from Dortmund to Chicago and Yokohama, but the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has led Niantic to re-think its plans....

Arch Warhammer’s name should be familiar to many in the Total War community, but most will remember him from last year’s incident where, as his final act as Creative Assembly’s community manager, Michael “Wheels” Whelan called him a “dickhead.” Arch Warhammer makes no secret of his opinions and beliefs. His most recent video, for instance, mocks Games Workshop’s statement in support of Black Lives Matter. The YouTuber captured the spotlight recently thanks to a Reddit thread showing screenshots of some of the blatantly racist, transphobic and hurtful views he spouts, along with his moderators, on his official Discord server....

The game finds Wario and a cast of characters sucked into a video game complete with a story mode chock-full of microgames. For the first time in a WarioWare game, you will control the fella along with buddies such as Jimmy T, Ashley, and 9-Volt. You can play story mode by yourself or with friends in both local and wireless co-op mode. There is also a Variety Pack which is a competitive party mode for friends playing locally....

For those who don’t know, Ricochet Anti-cheat is kernel-level software that has been released across all versions of Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard. The purpose of which is to crack down on the cheating problem that has been rampant for a while now within the series. While there have been existing tools used to deal with cheaters in Call of Duty titles, they’ve frankly been lacklustre when faced against the efforts of these cheaters....

The wait for the Mortal Kombat movie is almost over, and you can watch the opening of it now. The video is close to eight minutes long. In it, you get to see Hanzo Hasashi, also known as Scorpion, come face-to-face with Bi-Han, known to most as Sub-Zero. This Wreckfest event focuses on Stadium Super Trucks on both dirt and asphalt. Included in the DLC is a new epic track, the Rattlesnake Racepark, which features dirt tracks with signature steep jumps, technical turns, and mountain scenery. You can expect three new vehicles with the Off-Road Car pack (#10). These are The Trooper, the Trophy Runner, and Sandstorm. The tenth DLC pack is included in Season Pass 2.
