Gotham Knights is an open-world game that offers several ways to get around its world. When you first start it, you’ll be able to call the Batcycle practically anywhere, and drive it around Gotham. If you’d rather not be on the ground, all four heroes can also grapple into pointy edges, perches, spires, arches, rooftops and anything that can be used as an anchor point. The grapple animation, however, is slow, and doesn’t propel you forward in the same way it did in Arkham....

Microsoft’s 343 Industries studio has said some of the recent rumours about the upcoming Halo Infinite are not true. The studio’s community director Brian Jarrard took to Twitter yesterday (Monday, November 30) saying that the “fresh” rumours about the company’s forthcoming release are “unfounded.” While Jarrard doesn’t explicitly say which rumblings he is referring to, this does follow rumours that a Battle Royale mode would be coming to Halo Infinite in 2021....

The game, which has yet to be officially announced, is said to have been in development at Disney Infinity maker Avalanche Software since 2017. A new Reddit post from someone who purports to be working with publisher Warner Bros. on promotional materials has spilled the beans on a number of the game’s core components. We have not independently verified these claims, so best taken them with a grain of salt....

On today’s PS5 Showcase livestream, Sony brought new gameplay footage of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Today’s footage shows more of the action, compared to the brief reveal trailer from back in June. Spider-Man: Miles Morales continues to look stunning, but now we get to actually see how different Miles’ powers are going to be, which sets the way he fights apart from Peter’s repertoire in the original. As previously revealed, Spider-Man: Miles Morales will offer players a 4K 60fps performance mode, on top of the standard 30fps setting....
Activision’s Call of Duty League 2021 kicks off tomorrow. The Opening Weekend is taking place between February 11 and 14, and kicks off with Minnesota Røkkr playing returning team Los Angeles Thieves at 8PM GMT. This year, the Call of Duty League will be using – unsurprisingly – maps from the recently-released Black Ops Cold War, with Activision promising more matches using Search & Destroy and Hardpoint modes. The Call of Duty League 2021 players will be using PCs rather than console, while matches are returning to a 4v4 format rather than 2020’s 5v5....
Battlefield games have often had a troubled relationship with progression systems, and many hoped DICE would revamp them for the upcoming game. In a blog post, the studio laid out the various progression systems in the game, and how they’re going to reward players. For starters, Battlefield 2042 has 99 standard levels. Over the course of this journey, you’ll be unlocking weapons, Specialists, vehicles, gadgets and some cosmetics. IO Interactive, the developer and publisher of Hitman 3, announced today that the game’s PC version is an Epic Games Store exclusive. In celebration, Hitman (2016) will be available to download and own forever, from August 27 to September 3.
