EA has offered up some information on what will and will not transfer from the current-gen version of FIFA 21 to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the company, all progress and content within FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, and progression in Volta will transfer from PS4 to PS5 and from Xbox One to Xbox Series X/S. However, as Eurogamer notes, progress within all other modes will not. This includes Online Seasons, co-op Seasons, Career Mode, and Pro Clubs....

Originally announced and planned only for PS5 and Xbox Series X, Bloober Team has revealed it is also bringing the game to PC. Like the next-gen console version, you can expect upgraded visuals and additional content and it is set for release holiday 2020. Existing owners of Observer on Steam will have the option to upgrade for 80% off until September 15. Grounded was announced all the way back in November last year at X019, and Obsidian has been quiet basically ever since. On today’s episode of Inside Xbox, the developer confirmed that Grounded will hit Steam Early Access, and Xbox Game Preview on July 28. The game will also be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (PC/Xbox) subscribers on the same day. Grounded was pitched as a co-op survival game, but today, we got a good look at its single-player component....

Earlier this year, Blizzard announced that it would cancel this year’s event – BlizzCon 2020 – ‘in light of all the health and safety considerations’ the company would want to make. Now, to make up for the event’s cancellation, the studio has announced BlizzConline. The new event will take place on February 19 and February 20, 2021. The Delibird Tera Raid event will run during Christmas, starting on December 23 and concluding on December 25. They’ll be found across Paldea in Tera Raids with a star-rating of one to five, and they do not have a permanent, set Tera-Type. Delibird is an Ice/Flying-type Pokemon, making it weak to Fire, Electric, and Steel-type moves. It’s also significantly weak to Rock-type moves, so keep that in mind when choosing which Pokemon to take with you....

The crossover event is to celebrate the Pokemon Go expansion coming to the Pokemon TCG. As part of the collaboration, Pokemon Go players will see the debut of Pikachu wearing a Pokemon TCG hat. It’s been 25 years since Pokemon made its debut and The Pokemon Company is partnering with pop star Katy Perry for a year of music events. New footage from the upcoming Pokemon Unite has leaked online. GoNintendo has been compiling gameplay footage as it appears on YouTube, though videos are being taken down pretty damn quick. So far, we’ve been able to see characters including Garchomp, Cinderace and Greninja in motion, while Eurogamer reports a now-deleted video showed what Pokemon Unite’s monetisation looked like. Slightly Mad and Codemasters have announced Project Cars 3, a seemingly much expanded sequel. The game is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One this summer. From the official website, Project Cars 3 looks to be taking the game in a bit of a different direction. There’s greater emphasis on car collecting and car customisation, two areas the original games rarely focused on. The site confirms over 200 race and road cars, and over 140 race tracks....

Sony is bringing Horizon: Zero Dawn coming to PC at some point this year, according to a report. This news comes from three sources speaking with Kotaku, each familiar with Sony’s plans to bring the game to PC. If the sources are accurate, this will be the first exclusive from a Sony-owned developer to come to PC as Kotaku notes. For those without a PS4 this is great news, especially since it was so highly lauded when it released in 2017....
