The title is said to be a AAA, narrative-driven action-adventure game featuring a completely original story and take on the Marvel Universe....

Catalyst, also known as Tressa Smith, is an “experienced terraformer and defensive conjurer,” who “uses her remarkable control of ferrofluid to manipulate the battlefield,” as described on the game’s official site. In the short, called Last Hope, it shows her and a friend trying to save one of Boreas’ moons, Cleo, but they disagree with the methodology in doing so. She seems to have a very witchy vibe, though with a sci-fi twist, some majorly strong vibes overall....

However, Mirage is a different beast, and by focusing on a single city and taking into account all the refinement and iteration that the series has enjoyed since 2007, it may end up playing more like a much younger and frankly criminally underappreciated entry in the series: 2014’s Unity, as I argue in the video above. Mirage occurs a couple of decades earlier than the events of Valhalla, and a couple of centuries earlier than the first game, but will essentially bridge the gap between the ancient world trilogy of sprawling RPGs that we’ve been enjoying since Origins, and the action-adventure games of the series’ past: bringing the franchise full circle, and providing a neat stepping stone from the post-Roman world of Eivor, and the Levantine world of Altaïr....

In an update added on June 9, Blizzard removed restrictions from the Battle.net launcher that prevented players from adding friends outside of their home region (thanks, Wowhead). Any friends that you do add that come from another region will have their location listed in your friends list, under their user name. Despite these steps forward, you’re still unable to play with friends from overseas regions, though (mostly thanks to the regional servers that Blizzard makes use of in its high-profile multiplayer games)....

According to the company, starting in early April, you’ll be able to migrate your games and Wallet to your Steam account. If you have games through the Bethesda.net Launcher, you will not lose anything from your Bethesda.net account. Many games will also have their saves migrated, with a few requiring some manual transfers. For games that require it, you will still use your Bethesda.net login to sign in to play....

After a week of teasers, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War developer Treyarch finally dropped the first trailer for Firebase Z, the upcoming Zombies map. The new map will be free to all players, and goes live on Thursday, February 4 with the seasonal update. Firebase Z is set in Vietnam, and the story takes placer after the events of Die Maschine, the launch Zombies map. Grigori Weaver is on hand to provide support, and he’s going to be helping the squad save Samantha Maxis....

Rockstar New England, which was purchased by Rockstar when the former was Mad Doc Software and was responsible for the next-gen remaster of the first Bully at the time, had ambitious plans for the sequel, a bigger, more characterized game that could stand alongside L.A. Noire and Grand Theft Auto 4 as a grand tentpole release worthy of the Rockstar name. It was not to be, though, as the studio got pulled in multiple directions, called on to assist with projects like Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3 and immersed in the crunch culture that came with working on those games....

Three of those developers are Bungie, IO Interactive, and Ubisoft. According to Ubisoft, it is currently working on Stadia users being able to transfer their games to PC through Ubisoft Connect. A timeline for the option wasn’t specified, but the company said specific details will come at a later date. Hitman developer IO Interactive also took to Twitter to assure players it’s looking into ways for players to continue their Hitman experience on other platforms (thanks, IGN)....
