Hunting down your ever-growing list of targets plays a big role in the story of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and some are better at hiding than others. Early in Eivor’s adventure, they meet a pair of Hidden Ones, Basim and Hytham, in Norway, and agree to take up arms against the Order of the Ancients in an effort to liberate England of their influence. Once the Raven clan reach England, Hytham sticks around to set up a headquarters in town - feeding Eivor intel, and leading them towards new targets....

The games Ubisoft specifically called out were Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, and Skull & Bones. This diverse lineup of games is expected to be released during the 2022-2023 fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2023. The seven-day speedrunning marathon, also known as AGDQ 2021, came to an end at the start of the week having managed to secure a magnificent $2,758,847 million in donations from the game-playing public – the second-highest amount ever raised during the event after last year’s impressive marathon. Money raised over the course of this year’s speedrunning showcase will be donated to the Prevent Cancer Foundation, the only U.S-based nonprofit organization solely dedicated to cancer prevention and early detection....

Things kick off today with Totally Accurate Battle Simulator for cloud, console, and PC. In the game, you are the leader of the wobblers which come from “ancient lands, spooky places, and fantasy worlds.” They will fight in simulations made with an interesting physics system, and you can make your own wobblers in the unit creator. Alternatively, you can make your wobblers fight others in multiplayer. October 7 sees the release of The Procession to Calvary for cloud, console, and PC....

During the Baldur’s Gate 3 livestream today, Larian Studios revealed the Druid class and showed off some of its abilities. The new character will be added with Patch 4, which is the biggest patch so far for the Early Access title. According to the developer, the Druid is the most versatile of the party, as they can both heal their fellow adventurers while also magically ensnaring and destroying their foes....

The Liquidators is a two-week event, kicking off October 11, and ending October 25. During it, players will be able to jump into Tactical Conquest - the new Conquest variant emphasising squad play and tight infantry combat. There are two versions of Tactical Conquest, and each will be available for a full week. During the first week, the mode will be limited to 8v8, which expands to 16v16 the following week....

Battlefield 2024 was finally revealed moments ago in a livestream. The game is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 22. Here’s where you can place a Battlefield 2042 pre-order. Battlefield 2024 was introduced to the world with the help of an in-engine trailer, which is how DICE typically likes to reveal its games. Blizzard project manager Jens Salvesen took to Twitter over the weekend to highlight the thousands of employee care packages of soap, toilet paper and toilet paper towels given to company employees through a drive-through service set up in the office parking garage in Irvine, California. One of the earliest mysteries in Bloodborne has been the small locked door behind the Cleric Beast, which is accessible after defeating it. There is no way to interact with the door in the final build of the game, but the alpha version had a prompt that indicated it’s a shortcut to a different area, you just needed to open it from the other side. Shortly after the release of the game, fans put two and two together and figured out that the door was meant to lead from the Great Bridge (Central Yharnam) to the Cathedral Ward, only that this is no longer possible in the launch version of Bloodborne....

In the first few minutes of Bloodborne, we get treated to a brief cutscene featuring a character we don’t get to see again for the rest of the game. The NPC in question explains how blood ministration can solve all of our problems and asks for a few details to draw up a contract. After creating our character, the cutscene resumes, but we never find out who they were.
