You’ll be travelling from one end of the map to the other to complete this weekly challenge, so try to land at either location straight from the Battle Bus and grab a weapon when you can. The good news is that you don’t need to complete this challenge in a single match, so don’t worry if you can’t cross the map in time. While you’ve likely visited the highest point on the map already in previous challenges, the lowest point is one of the newer locations....

As part of the Week 2 challenges, you’ll need to ride a motorboat under three different coloured steel bridges. Fortunately, there are plenty of motorboats around the map and five steel bridges to choose from. Remember: you can fire at enemies from the motorboats, but try to grab a weapon or two when you’re on the hunt for one to avoid an early elimination. A story trailer for Fortnite’s Chapter 2 - Season 5 has landed, fleshing out the ongoing narrative that Epic Games has been working on building over the last few seasons. While many probably don’t consider Fortnite a game with an intricate story, since it’s huge success, Epic Games has been building out its reality clashing universe. This all, of course, follows the Galactus event yesterday which drew a staggering 15....

For this Fortnite Season 2 challenge, you’ll need to land at Lockie’s Lighthouse, Apres Ski and Mount Kay. This type of challenge is relatively easy to complete and it doesn’t really matter if you’re eliminated right after you land. You can complete this challenge over several matches, so don’t worry about doing it in one go. These landmarks were available last season, but to refresh your memory, we’ll take a look at where to find them on the new map....

Forza’s YouTube channel recently dedicated an episode of their Let’s ¡Go! show to the audio innovations of Forza Horizon 5, and that included how the developers are using ray tracing to enhance the player’s immersion in the driving experience. Creative director Mike Brown and lead audio designer Fraser Strachan discussed at length how the principles of ray tracing were being implemented with audio design in the forthcoming Forza Horizon 5, discussing how the game is constantly detecting objects in the world and using that feedback to deliver audio that sounds like it’s really bouncing off of every object at the appropriate distance and crispness....

Forza Street has been released for mobile and you can earn special in-game goodies just for downloading. As an incentive, if you play the game from today through June 5 you will be handed the Founder’s Pack which includes a 2017 Ford GT. Lovely cars, those. It also includes additional in-game credits and gold which can be used to unlock new cars for your collection. Geforce Now is Nvidia’s game streaming service. Unlike Stadia, Luna and others, it relies on users’ Steam libraries. In other words, you don’t directly buy content on Geforce Now, you simply rent a virtual PC. Although the idea of this seamless integration was very well received by players, not all developers were on board. Since Geforce Now went live, a number of publishers pulled their game from the service. Ighor July, the C++ developer in question, decided to dig deeper into the Geforce Now client to get a list of all “blocked” games, which should theoretically be accessible on the service, but are not due to publisher demands....

When Epic Games decided to sue Apple for what it called a “monopolistic practice” of requiring developers to use the App Store’s payment system, and taking a 30% cut on transactions, the company also filed a lawsuit with similar aims against Google. New declassified court documents [PDF] (via The Verge) revealed Google’s reaction to Epic’s move in getting around the Play Store’s 30% cut by asking players to sideload Fortnite....

Grand Pirates Codes can reward you with a plethora of goodies that can boost your bounty and your power as a Pirate. You can get Peli to spend on a Boat, or you can get some extra XP to make it easier to battle some of your stronger foes.
