While this should come as no surprise considering the company has 15 studios, and soon to be 23 with Bethesda joining, it’s always nice to know something new is coming. “In 2021, creators around the world will tap deeper into the power of Xbox Series X/S and bring a massive variety of content to Xbox players,” said the company. “From Xbox Game Studios, 2021 will see the Master Chief’s return in Halo Infinite, a new brain-bending odyssey in Psychonauts 2, and some surprises we haven’t announced yet. “Your favorite games will also continue to grow with you, with 30 pieces of new content coming to several of our franchises next half, including Forza, Sea of Thieves, Grounded, and much more. Looking further ahead, you will also hear more from teams across Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda. “We anticipate this to be the most exciting generation yet for developers and players alike, with something for every kind of gamer. We have so much more in store, both from our talented partners and our creative teams at Microsoft.” It’s possible we might hear more on what Xbox has in store for us at The Game Awards tomorrow night. While company marketing head Aaron Greenburg has basically said to “dial expectations way down versus speculation,” the company will have a presence, which means we can still hope for something interesting. Earlier today, the company announced cloud gaming is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for PC and iOS next year. In Spring 2021, with Ultimate, you will be able to make use of cloud gaming on PCs through the Xbox app and browser, and on iOS devices through a mobile web browser.
