That grand opening date for the theme park was announced this morning as Super Nintendo World’s team showed off the first official images of the part, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the Mario Kart and Bowser’s Castle attractions. According to IGN Japan, Bowser’s Castle will feature a massive statue of the infamous kidnapper and the area based on his lair will feature a ton of details related to the long-time Mario villain....

So why isn’t this a review of Jett: The Far Shore? Simple. I got bored of the gameplay and surprisingly dull world of this jet-based exploration game before I reached the end. I found the whole thing rather tedious, and for me, it’s the biggest disappointment of the year. I called it a day on the game’s penultimate chapter. For the majority of Jett you are inside a sort of hover plane - a jett from the game’s title....

In the closed beta, two game modes will be available to choose from: Item Mode and Speed Mode. In Item Mode, you can collect items while racing around the track and use the items you collect to your benefit (like your standard kart racer games). In Speed Mode, you will need to have finesse in drifting and using boosts – it’s for players who “enjoy fast-paced, competitive racing,” apparently. You’ll be able to customise your kart, riders and racing effects, too....

Killer Klowns from Outer Space is an iconic horror film from 1988. It’s silly, outlandish, and all about some unwelcome extraterrestrial visitors that happen to look like clowns. If you’ve not seen it, you might think it looks stupid, and in some areas, it is, but that’s exactly what is so great about the film; it doesn’t take itself too seriously, while also being a fun, horror experience that takes you back to the eighties....

Fall Guys, currently the game all brands want to associate with, has garnered a bit of interest from Konami. The Metal Gear publisher recently showed off its interpretation of Solid Snake as a Fall Guys character. On Twitter, Konami revealed three chubby, thumb-shaped recreations of the iconic character. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga showed up at Opening Night Live today with a bombastic new trailer featuring gameplay from the entire series - Prequels, Original Trilogy and Sequels. We got to see gameplay from all nine movies, with heroes old and new teaming up. The trailer shows a Yakuza-like ancient Japan filled with very familiar looking characters, clashing with that classic Yakuza comabt albeit with swords and flintlock pistols rather than fists, traffic cones and stray bicycle. When Maneater hits next-gen consoles, you can also expect new lighting effects, increased fidelity and frame rate. The PC version of Maneater will also be getting next-gen updates in early 2021 and more information on those enhancements will be coming in the next few months.
