Haunted Space was unveiled overnight at the Future Games Show. Haunted Space is a game of many components: it’s mainly a space shooter, but one with a horror narrative about humanity’s future civilization clashing with ancient space aliens. It’s also a bit of an Everspace, a game where you build spaceships, trade, and scavenge for resources to upgrade your ship. Haunted Space is set in a fictional galaxy where humanity has found a new home after the discovery of Sonic Matter, a unique source of energy....

So far we’ve only been drip fed tiny morsels of what we can expect from the live-action take on Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us, like these posters earlier this week, and a short teaser in August. But HBO has released a full trailer for us all to take a gander at, which is bafflingly set to a movie-trailer-dramatic version of a-ha’s Take On Me. If you’re new to the series, the trailer does a helpful job of setting up the main concept: Joel is taking Ellie, a teenage girl that’s been bitten by an infected person, but hasn’t turned herself, across to the west-side of the country to understand why she’s alive, and possibly figure out a cure....

A look at some of the weapons you will be using in Deathloop has been provided in a new gameplay video. In the exclusive gameplay clip you see below from Game Informer, you get a look at a knife, the Tribunal pistol, the Strelak 50-50 assault rifle, a PT-6 Spiker which is similar to a nailgun, and the Fourpounder hand cannon. The beta for Steam China is officially live, and with it, comes a host of games approved by Chinese regulators. All games need to obtain this approval before being listed on the store, but it’s looking promising so far. As shared by Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad on Twitter, Steam China co-operator Perfect World published a trailer showing all the games Chinese players can currently buy on the localised version of Valve’s platform....

IO Interactive says by the end of February, PC players on Steam will be able to port their Hitman 2 levels into Hitman 3. This means that the solution to bring Hitman 2 levels from Steam into Hitman 3 through the Epic Games Store seems to be worked out. Previously, the ability to import locations was not workable. “Whilst we’ve been busy launching Hitman 3, we’ve also been working on the promised solution for allowing PC players to import locations that they already own into the game on Epic,” reads the forum post from IO....

One of today’s more surprising reveals has to be Crossfire: Legion, a new real-time strategy from Homeworld developer Blackbird Interactive. Yes, that means the game is based on Smilegate’s global Crossfire brand, which the Korean company seems keen to expand beyond just Asia and the Middle East, where it’s most recognisable. Only a few days ago, we got to see 13 minutes of Sable in action. Now, the action-adventure with a very Moebius-inspired art style, has an official release date. It was announced with a performance from Japanese Breakfast (which you can watch over on Twitch or YouTube) and the band’s styles really fit in with the lovely visuals the game boasts. Sable was announced by developer Shedworks back at E3 2018, and players have been eager to see more of its magical visuals for a while....

One of Call of Duty: Warzone’s most criticised aspects is how developer Infinity Ward continues to rotate the list of available modes on a weekly basis.
