As for the script, writers Pat Casey and Josh Miller - the brains behind Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - will be adapting the game for the screen while also taking on the role of executive producers....

The news comes from a report published by Bloomberg, which delves into the misogynistic culture that has become entrenched in Ubisoft offices on a global scale. Three weeks ago, Ubisoft suspended executives Tommy Francois and Maxime Beland. The latter announced his resignation shortly thereafter. Just last week, Ubisoft announced that three more execs - Chief Creative Officer Serge Hascoët, Managing Director of Ubisoft’s Canadian studios Yannis Mallat, and Global Head of HR Cécile Cornet....

Ghosts in Phasmophobia can now hear you, thanks to the latest update to the game by Kinetic Games. Now, when talking or taunting the ghost before a hunt, it will now appear and interact in the game. Plus, the ghost can now locate you via your own microphone sound. Yikes. Basically, the Ghost can now hear non-VR players when hunting in single-player without you using push to talk. And, it can now open locker doors similar to normal doors....

PlayStation 4 users can download the ReMind DLC for Kingdom Hearts 3 from today. In ReMind, once you have completed the game, you can delve into this new episode which finds Sora battling through his friends’ perspective. You will participate in multiple boss battles, including 13 boss battles in the Limitcut episode and a boss battle in the Secret Episode. The DLC includes the new Data Greeting mode, new slideshow feature, and Premium Menu which features new difficulty settings....

Earlier this week, Velan Studios announced that its dodgeball brawler Knockout City would be wrapping up after Season 9, with global servers being shuttered June 6. Velan Studios announced the news in a blog post, writing, “This was an extremely difficult decision for us, but a necessary and important one for our studio… Despite over 12 million players and billions of KOs around the globe, there are several aspects of the game in need of major disruption to better attract and retain enough players to be sustainable....

Nintendo of America shared a first look at the new lineup of Lego versions of classic Mario characters. It’s a mystery box kind of situation, with eight different characters to collect and build, including Nabbit, Purple Toad, Hammer Bro, Waddlewing, Toady, Baby Yoshi, Red Yoshi, and most importantly of all, Blue Shy Guy. “Unlimited possibilities LEGO Super Mario toy playsets bring Super Mario characters into the real world,” writes Lego in the product description....

Despite being a little out of season, they’re a lot of fun to play with and well worth adding to your growing collection. The non-holiday characters can also be unlocked through normal progression, but these codes unlock them more easily without completing additional - and often difficult - extra challenges....

After teasing a new downloadable fighter back in February, Bandai Namco has finally lifted the lid on the last character in the game’s Season 4 Season Pass, following on from the addition of Kunimitsu who arrived in-game in October. “After the Tekken​ Force arrived into parts of Poland, the Polish citizens cried out for a stronger leader and Lidia answered that call!” notes her official description. She’ll arrive in the game on all platforms on March 23 and will debut alongside the new ‘Island Paradise’ stage – which even has a sunbathing Lee/Violet in the background....

Original Story: A demo for Bandai Namco’s Little Nightmares 2 has started to pop up on console stores. As spotted by Destructoid, a trial for the upcoming horror title is being rolled out on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Little Nightmares 2 Demo has appeared on the Microsoft store, as well as the PlayStation Store in parts of the world....

In this 5v5 soccer-like sport, you can tackle, use items like bananas and shells as well as activate special shots. Up to eight players, four players on each team, can compete against each other on one Nintendo Switch system. In addition to individual matches, online play will let 20 players join up and compete to become the world’s top club. The gear you use can also have special attributes such as increased Strength, and not only can you augment your stats, but your gear appearance as well....

In the last month we’ve had two big Marvel video game announcements, one being Uncharted director Amy Hennig’s next title involving Captain America and an earlier incarnation of Black Panther in the second world war. And the more recent announcement being the Iron Man game coming from the EA owned Motive Studio. But don’t place any bets on these characters meeting each other à la the Marvel Cinematic Universe, because Marvel has no plans for it....

Marvel’s Avengers caused a bit of stir recently when Square Enix confirmed that Spider-Man is exclusive to the PS4 and PS5 versions. The sticker doesn’t feature an end date to the character’s exclusivity, which, though expected, is still disappointing to see. Often times, when exclusive content is involved, the sticker on the game’s cover would spill out when said content would come to other platforms. Final Fantasy 7 Remake, for instance, a game exclusive to PS4 for a year, indicates that on its cover....

This is in addition to evolved forms of Pokemon that haven’t been discovered yet in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. Mega Evolved versions will include Pokemon such as Altaria, Charizard, Gardevoir, Gengar, Sableye, and Venusaur among “many other surprises.” You can expect encounters with over 400 Pokemon as you explore the game and its dungeons. Speaking of the latter, they will change each time you visit, so don’t become accustomed to the layouts....

As announced in February’s Nintendo Direct, the second free update for Metroid Dread brings in a boss rush mode. In fact, the update technically brings in three new modes, but they’re all basically the same with varying degrees of difficulty. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept of a boss rush, it’s pretty simple. You just take on every boss in the game, one after the other. The standard boss rush mode sees Samus do exactly that, facing off against all of the bosses you would have in the main game....

Microsoft at one time was looking to acquire gaming companies EA, Midway, Square Enix, and even Nintendo. This is according to a Blomberg feature on the origins of Xbox. It features insight from various people who had a hand in the original Xbox’s creation discussing the early days of the console. In it, we find out Microsoft first approached EA, which quickly said “no thanks.” The company then set its eye on Nintendo....

As reported by The Verge, the fairly substantial accusation comes as part of some documents that have been filed with Brazil’s national competition regulator, as well as being part of a review of Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. “Microsoft’s ability to continue expanding Game Pass has been hampered by Sony’s desire to inhibit such growth,” Microsoft itself claims in a filing to the Administrative Council for Economic Defence, or CADE (translations from The Verge)....

The company started testing the expanded Xbox Game Pass subscription service in early August with Xbox Insiders in both countries. With Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family, five accounts share the benefits of Game Pass Ultimate, allowing you, your family, and friends to play the Game Pass library of games on console, PC, and cloud together. The service will run 49,900 COP in Columbia and €21.99 per month in Ireland....

We’ll admit it: we thought Marvel’s Midnight Suns had 6/10 written all over it. It seemed to so confused, that we wondered for months – in private – about whether it could possibly be a good, coherent, intelligible experience with so many disparate elements going on. A Marvel XCOM game that’s also a card battler, but also a relationship simulator, but also a creepy Metroidvania style National Trust explore-em-up? And in the era of Extreme MCU Fatigue?...

We got a chance to check out the beta build that’s releasing today ahead of time, and it’s particularly impressive as a showcase of the ray tracing technology that Nvidia has been pushing since the release of its RTX series GeForce graphics cards. Minecraft makes a lot of sense as a ray tracing showcase - as well as the best-selling game in the world, it’s also a deceptively simple game which can have a large degree of complexity layered on top of it - perfect for showcasing new technology such as ray tracing....

As opposed to minerals, in-world resources, or monster parts, Elgado Tickets are achieved passively and only handed out by in-game vendors at set occaisions – you can’t just go out into a mission and grind for them. This means you will probably have to repeat multiple quests and clear a lot of the non-essential content in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak to get them. Sustained play and making sure to clear the more difficult high-end tasks will eventually yield results, though....
