Data from CD Projekt Red’s ransomware hack has reportedly started making its way online again, after everyone assumed this won’t happen. Over the weekend, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - an eight-year old game - set a new concurrent player record on Steam. According to Steam Charts, 924,045 players jumped in all at the same time. That figure has risen slightly since then to 925,990 players. Just last month, CS:GO attracted over 876,575 concurrent players, which was a new record for the game at that point. Before that, the most recent record was set in April 2016....

Just how big is the install size though? Reports have varied between platforms but it appears that on PS4/PS5, Cyberpunk 2077 is over 100GB. According to a Reddit post, pre-loading on PS5 (which is backwards compatible with the PS4 game) weighs in at 102.9GB. That’s higher than the reported 70GB the download size for the game on PC. For Xbox users, the pre-load appears to be just under 60GB. The reason for the huge size on PS4 is likely because it includes the pre-launch patch....
